What makes this site different than other Hummer classified sites out there?
In spite of it’s very simple appearance, there is a lot of cool technology going on behind the scenes here. Instead of your ad just sitting here on our site waiting for someone to find it, we use the latest in social techologies to get your ad out into the internet. Readers can subscribe via email, RSS, or Twitter to receive updates when new ads are posted. In addition, our feeds are sent out to all the major feed aggregators and get exposed all over the internet.

How much does it cost to place an ad here?
Currently, all ads are free. Donations will be accepted but not required. It is posssible that we might start charging a small fee for ads in the future if hosting costs or admin time calls for it, but there are no definite plans to do so at this time.

Who can place ads here?
Anyone can place classified ads on our site as long as they are appropriate ads for this site. Any ads about Hummer vehicles, parts, accessories, clubs, etc. are fine. Ads that are not relevant will be deleted. Repeat offenders/spammers will be permabanned.

How many ads can I place?
You may place as many ads as you wish as long as they are all different and relevant. It is good for the readers to have a large selection to choose from. If you are a commercial user and would like to feature a number of your vehicles here, go right ahead. If you have a number of different parts for sale and want to list them seperately, that’s ok too. In fact, it’s probably better that you do it that way. Just use common sense and don’t post your whole inventory. A handful of featured items or your bestsellers works best.

Can I have pictures in my ads?
You have the ability to upload an unlimited number of images per ad (1 Mb maximum per image). Please use common sense. It is not necessary to have 30 different angles of a used tire when 2 or 3 will get the point across. Adding too many unnecessary images will make page loading times slow and turn readers away from your ad.

What else can I do to make my ad pretty?
You can make your ad as plain or as fancy as you wish. We have enabled the use of HTML code in the “Description” box of the ad creation screen. This will allow you to do most anything you could normally do on a web page. At this time, we do not have an embedded HTML editor available, so you will need to have a working knowledge of HTML code, or use a separate editor to create your code which you can paste in.

Can I have a video in my ad?
Yes, sort of. We will not be hosting videos, but you can upload your video to YouTube and embed the video code into your ad.

How long will my ad run?
Ads are set to run for 60 days, after which they can be renewed or not renewed. You may withdraw your ad at any time before the 60 day run time is over.
